How the Italian study visa works
- Apply to your university and complete pre-enrolment on Universitaly.
- Your university validates the pre-enrolment.
- You receive an appointment and apply for your study visa – in Pakistan through BLS-Intiana for the Embassy in Islamabad.
- On arrival, apply for your residence permit for study within 8 working days.
Documents and money you need
- Financial means: at least €10,179.85 per year for 2026/27, plus funds for your return journey.
- Accommodation: a hotel booking of at least one month, a lease, or a hospitality declaration.
- Health insurance: at least €30,000 cover for treatment, hospitalisation and repatriation.
- Your academic documents as required by your university.
