What you need for a German student visa
- An admission letter from a German university (or conditional admission / preparatory course).
- Proof of funds – usually a blocked account (Sperrkonto), a scholarship or a formal declaration of commitment.
- Proof of language skills for your course – often B2 German for German-taught courses, or an English test for English-taught ones.
- Health insurance cover.
- A valid passport and academic documents.
