Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship
Pakistan is a sending partner of Hungary’s government scholarship. It covers your tuition fees and supports your accommodation costs. Places are available for bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral study in many subjects. We guide you through the application.
What you need for a Hungarian study permit
- Admission to a Hungarian higher education institution.
- Proof of accommodation in Hungary (a declared address).
- Proof of sufficient funds – for example a bank certificate in your name.
- Comprehensive health insurance, or proof you can cover healthcare costs.
- A valid passport.
Working while you study
You can work up to 30 hours a week during study periods, and full-time for up to 90 days (or 66 working days) outside study periods.
After you graduate
Graduates can apply for a residence permit to look for a job or start a business for up to 9 months, in a role matching their level of study.
