How much money do I need to show for a UK Student visa?
You need enough money to pay for your course for 1 academic year (up to 9 months), plus living costs of £1,529 a month in London or £1,171 a month outside London, for up to 9 months. See GOV.UK.
How much is the UK Student visa fee?
It costs £558 to apply for a Student visa from outside the UK. You also pay the Immigration Health Surcharge of £776 a year as part of your application; the amount depends on how long your visa lasts.
