Several UK universities limited or paused recruitment of students from Pakistan after a rise in visa refusals, as reported in December 2025. Policies differ by university, course and intake. Before you choose from the list above, ask us to confirm the university's current position for Pakistani applicants, and check its official international admissions page. A low fee does not help if the university is not accepting your application.
How the UK study cost calculator works
Choose your course level, either undergraduate or master’s. Then choose where you want to study: outside London, London or anywhere. Pick a tuition budget, from up to £17k to £25k and above, and the length of your course, from 1 to 4 years. The calculator shows an estimated first-year cost and a list of universities in your range.
Cost of studying in UK for international students
Your first-year cost combines tuition, living costs, the visa fee and the health surcharge. Every university fee comes from the university’s own official fee page, with a link and the date we checked it. Fees vary by course, so always confirm the fee for your course on the university’s website.
UK student visa bank statement amount
The Student visa asks you to show enough money to pay for your course for 1 academic year (up to 9 months). You must also show living costs of £1,529 a month in London or £1,171 a month outside London, for up to 9 months. Our UK student visa guide explains the rule in full.
