A Dubai visit visa from Pakistan is normally arranged through an airline, hotel or licensed travel agent. A 30-day tourist visa costs AED 200 and a 60-day visa AED 300, plus 5% VAT, with 48 hours expected processing. This guide covers the visa types, documents and what we could not confirm.

UAE visit visa price
Fees differ by visa type. GDRFA Dubai lists a multiple-entry tourist visa at AED 300 for 30 days and AED 500 for 60 days, plus 5% VAT, and states that no security deposit applies. The AED 200 and AED 300 fees above are for the single-entry visa.
GDRFA Dubai lists a tourist visa extension fee of AED 600 plus 5% VAT, and the total stay may not exceed 120 days. ICP lists an extension application fee of AED 100 and an extend-entry fee of AED 500.
UAE visit visa price: the 5-year visa and extras
For the 5-year visa, GDRFA Dubai itemises fees totalling AED 3,713, including an AED 3,000 guarantee. ICP lists AED 3,720, and both say totals may vary. For relative or friend visas, GDRFA Dubai also lists medical insurance of AED 40 (30 days), AED 60 (60 days) and AED 90 (90 days). Official fee pages can change, so confirm the amount with the issuing authority before you pay any agent or travel office.
Documents
- Passport valid for at least 6 months, and a photo.
- A return or onward ticket and valid UAE medical insurance.
- Pakistani applicants must also supply a copy of their Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC).
- For a family visit: proof of kinship and the sponsor’s salary certificate or contract.
No official page we read sets a minimum bank balance for 30 or 60-day tourist visas.
Dubai visa for Pakistani passport holders
GDRFA Dubai names Pakistan in its tourist visa requirements. Applicants of some nationalities must supply an identity card from the country of origin, and the list is Iraq, Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan. The same wording appears for single-entry, multiple-entry and relative or friend visas.
ICP's 5-year visa page differs. It asks for an ID copy only from applicants from Afghanistan, Iran and Iraq, and does not name Pakistan. The UAE government says the 5-year visa can be issued for all nationalities.
UAE tourist visa requirements
GDRFA Dubai lists these standard tourist visa conditions:
- A passport valid for at least six months.
- One personal photo and a passport copy.
- Valid medical insurance in the UAE.
- A ticket to continue the journey or leave the UAE.
- A tourism establishment as sponsor.
For the 5-year visa, ICP also asks for proof of residence during the stay. Each stay is limited to 90 days, total stays cannot exceed 180 days in a year, and unused days do not carry over. Relative or friend visas need proof of the relationship and two photos. They also need a marriage contract, a birth certificate and an income document, and a refundable deposit applies. Some airlines and hotels require you to book with them.
Dubai visa processing time
GDRFA Dubai lists an expected completion time of 48 hours. This applies to the single-entry, multiple-entry, relative or friend, and 5-year tourist visas, and to extensions.
ICP states a service completion duration of 2 days for visa issuance, the 5-year visa and extensions. Its FAQ says processing takes 48 hours after you fulfil all requirements. The 5-year tourist visa and sponsor income
The 5-year visa needs bank statements for six months showing a balance of USD 4,000, health insurance valid for 180 days and a round-trip ticket. A stay is up to 90 days per visit, extendable by 90, but no more than 180 days a year. A relative or friend sponsor needs a monthly income of AED 4,000 for first-degree relatives, AED 8,000 for second or third-degree relatives and AED 15,000 for a friend.
Rules, fines and what we could not confirm
The overstay fine is AED 50 a day. Enter within 60 days of issue. We could not find an official UAE page that lists Pakistan as suspended or restricted, and we could not confirm an official Pakistan-specific process or agent fees.
